Objective:
This workshop focuses on properly documenting your job hazard analysis (JHA) or a job safety analysis (JSA). This workshop provides information on the importance and purpose of a JHA/JSA and shows some examples of JHAs/JSAs completed by DoD worksites. In addition, the workshop includes activities that take a step-by-step approach to completing a JHA/JSA, assisting in breaking down tasks, identifying hazards, and determining control measures.
Pre-Requisites:
This workshop is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn more about developing and documenting a hazard analysis, such as a JHA/JSA. Attendees should have a basic understanding of hazard analysis prior to this workshop. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include:
