Course Title: Analyzing Dust Hazards: A Review of NFPA 652

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires all facilities comply with the revised NFPA 652, Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust (2019). This webinar provides an overview of what combustible dust is, common combustible dust sources, and potential hazards. The webinar focuses on the dust hazard analysis (DHA) requirements outlined in the standard, as well as possible controls. In addition, the webinar provides information on management system expectations, such as training and communication requirements, related to the DHA.

Pre-Requisites: This introductory-level webinar is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn more about NFPA 652 and the requirements to complete a DHA at their organization. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include: facility managers, maintenance personnel, safety professionals, industrial hygienists, and managers & supervisors overseeing processes involving combustible dusts.
