Objective:
The VPP Assessor Course is intended for personnel serving as VPP assessors, implementers and organizational leaders for their respective installations/commands. This course will take place January 8-10, 2019, at Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, TX, building 1260 room 109. Directions and parking instructions are posted on this page.
The course is intended to be similar to training provided to OSHA employees and those acting as “Special Government Employees” in OSHA evaluations of VPP Star applicants, with added content on DoD Safety Management System initiatives and assessment tools. It will help students understand, evaluate, and lead an organization’s VPP efforts.
Pre-Requisites:
The course will begin at 0800 on 8 January and end at 1600 on 10 January 2019. PARTICPANTS MUST ARRANGE THEIR SCHEDULES/AND TRAVEL SUCH THAT THEY WILL ATTEND FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE COURSE. The course is offered tuition-free, but any labor and travel costs associated with attendance must be paid by the participant’s parent command.
