Course Title: Maintaining, Sustaining, and Improving Your SOHMS

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: This webinar focuses on various strategies and best practices to keep your safety and occupational health management (SOHMS) up to date, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. It discusses the importance of periodically evaluating your SOHMS and provides strategies to analyze SOHMS performance and identify areas needing improvement. It also covers SOHMS-related communication and documentation best practices to sustain your safety and health (S&H) culture.

Pre-Requisites: This advanced-level webinar will benefit personnel wanting to learn more about continually improving their SOHMS and maintaining a world class safety culture. Attendees should have an intermediate understanding of their required SOHMS documentation and SOHMS self-evaluation process prior to this webinar. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include top leadership, supervisors, employees with S&H responsibilities, Employee safety committee members, and safety professionals.

Paul has been with CTC and the SMCX program for nearly 15 years and supports both Army and Navy sites. He is a certified master trainer and holds a master’s degree in leadership from Columbia Southern University. Over the years, Paul assisted several worksites with achieving and sustaining SOHMS recognition – bringing home best practice ideas and improvements to share with others
