Course Title: Building Better Contractor Safety & Health Oversight

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: The webinar discusses the basics of government contracts, contract management, and contractor safety and health (S&H) oversight. The webinar reviews key reference documents, contract types, contracting phases, government and contractor S&H responsibilities, and safety office do’s and don’ts when dealing with contractors. This webinar also describes some best practices for building better contractor oversight and cooperation.

Pre-Requisites: This introductory-level presentation is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn about S&H requirements in contracts and clarifies responsibilities for contractor oversight. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include Safety and Occupational Health Management System (SOHMS) points of contact, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Safety managers, and Safety staff.
