Course Title: Get the Dirt on Housekeeping: Right vs. Wrong

Course Type: Workshops

Objective: The webinar centers on ways to improve housekeeping and highlights some of the most common findings observed in areas with poor housekeeping. This workshop enables participants to develop a housekeeping checklist tailored to their work area from the example checklists provided. Finally, this workshop includes activities focused on helping you identify common housekeeping hazards. Participants will be able to use these examples to enhance their site’s hazard recognition training.

Pre-Requisites: This presentation is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn more about the differences between good and poor housekeeping. This workshop covers the hazards with potential to affect employees’ safety and health (S&H) attitudes and well-being in the workplace. Attendees should have an intermediate understanding of basic housekeeping requirements in work environments prior to this workshop. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this workshop may include: • S&H personnel • Managers • Supervisors and employees
